MARCH ANNIVERSARIES BRING BURLESQUE JOY TO SPRING!

We kick off March with a burlesque weekend doubleheader!  On FRIDAY, MARCH 7th, 2014, Burlesque S'il Vous Plait celebrates FOUR YEARS of 'classic burlesque shows with a contemporary variety twist'!  With performances by BAYOU BETTIE (Cloud City Circus), IVANA MANDALAY (Patriot Pinups), SUGAR KANE (Rue Royale Burlesque) and HYACINTH LEE (Orchestre L'Pow); all hosted and produced by "Portland's Best Emcee", Zora Phoenix in the rich interior of Crush Bar while the audience enjoys delicious fare and amazing cocktails.   Tickets available for $10 online or at the door the night of the show!

Sunday March 9 brings a bevy of burlesque goodness!

First, a FREE Kittening Workshop from the Rose City School of Burlesque from 3-5pm teaches interested individuals the basics behind burlesque and how to be a stage pick-up artist... also known as kittens and manthers!

Then after shaking in the Stretch & Strut segment of the Kittening Workshop, join us from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, Rose City School of Burlesque is happy to host a meet & greet with Dr. Jen from Atomic Cosmetics and Xerion Skin Science in Seattle!  She will have her incredible, safe-for-skin and designed for burlesque & drag performer line of makeup, glitter, and skin care!

On Thursday, March 13, Zora's own burlesque improvisation game show is back at the Analog!  Improvlesque is a fun show where the audience chooses the music and everyone wins as performers 'compete' to be the Glitter King/Queen of Improv Burlesque!  This month's theme is Divas of Music, and we'll get to see LILY LeFAUVE (The Fringe Benefits), CLAIRE VOLTAIRE (The Fringe Benefits), andBABY LeSTRANGE (Rose City Shimmy) create on-the-spot striptease acts to the randomly picked music of Tina Turner, Cher, Whitney, Madonna and more!  They will wow the audience and gain favor as the crowd cheers and picks their favorite!  Come see reigning queen LASCIVIOUS LENORE (Rose City School of Burlesque) give her crown to the victor!

On SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 2013, our monthly boylesque bonanza, BURLESCAPE!is back celebrating our THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!  This special edition features our manly monthly cast, ISAIAH (Burlesquire, BOYeurism, and Caravan of Glam) and dance man extraordinaire, TOD ALAN, with burlesque by Rose City School of Burlesque graduate, JUDY PATOOTIE, and we welcome the hilarious juggling of CURTIS CARLYLE; produced and hosted by ZORA PHOENIX at the classy and comfortable CRUSH BAR   Doors at 9:00pm and tickets available online or at the door for $10.
